Dan, Emily, Allison, & Rachel’s Family Portraits

The shoot all started out with a bit of a “fashion show,” with me as the “judge,” deciding which outfits would coordinate well together for the family portraits. Of course, since their Kindergartener and budding fashion diva, Allison, pleaded to wear an adorable dress she had picked out, all of the other clothing choices revolved around the little dress. After the choices were made (and a long sleeve shirt was artfully concealed under Allison’s chilly dress,) we all bundled up and went out to Seattle’s Eastside – Gillman Village in Issaquah, Washington. The whole family acted like perfect models, striking a new pose each time the shutter clicked. They were all such good sports, too, considering the chilly weather we all faced. Here are some fun portraits from moments I captured.:

 

It’s tough to get a smooch in with the kiddos playing around, but it sure is fun to try!

Just look at Allison’s gorgeous eyes and how they play off of the building’s color behind her!:

They had a pic of Allison in front of a door when she was younger, so we were sure to catch a similar moment with little Rachel.:

Aaaah…a peaceful moment away from the cutie kids…Of course, what you don’t see is Allison off to the side, trying to keep Rachel busy, against her will!:

I love this shot! Rachel has such a beautiful smile – I bet you can’t tell that she was shivering – her teeth were actually chattering, for the first time in her little life! We took a warm up break after this shot.:

Mark & Cori’s Portrait Session

Here are some photos that I shot of Mark & Cori a little bit ago. We had a ton of fun and plenty laughs as we sought out perfect places to shoot their portraits in South Seattle. They are such a cute couple! I love how you can see their individual personalities coming through in their portraits. Here are some of my favorites:
